I just moved here from Wisconsin, and grew up Presbyterian, was confirmed Lutheran but drifted away from my spiritual roots. Once I moved to California I connected again through yoga and meditation. After hearing many positive reviews I decided to check out The Bay Church (formally known as Calvary Temple Church) and felt very welcome even though I came by myself. I did not know what to expect but was very happy with the worship music, it is clear that the servant leaders have deep connections with the Lord, the atmosphere is uplift and energizing. If you feel comfortable raising a hand, or dancing that is totally welcome, if you rather connect inward then that is totally welcome as well. After service I went to a Connect Station and was given a gift just for attending. Lots of great programs are offered to adults, families, singles, and children. I look forward to Sundays and wish the services were longer! John is a dynamic speaker and always keep the focus on Loving God, and Loving People. Wonderful 10/10, 5 Star Review!
